Suntan Liquid Underglaze is a soft sand color that is light and soft at cone 05, becomes a deep peach and fluxes into a soft glaze-like surface at cone 6, and maintains that toasty peach tone with a soft sheen at to cone 10. Though the underglaze does become glaze-like, a clear gloss glaze can give Suntan an impeccably smooth surface with good color.

Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
