What are your hours?

Ceramic Supply Pittsburgh is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. and every 2nd Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We are closed certain holidays.

Are your clays pre-mixed?

Standard wet clays are accurately formulated, completely mixed, pugged and de-aired.

 

How are your clays packaged?

WET clay bodies are packaged in plastic bags, two 25-lb. bags per carton.

 

Are your clays available in dry form?

All Standard clays are available in dry form. The price is increased by $.06 per pound and the Non-Toxic seal does not apply to these clays.

 

What glaze manufacturers do you carry?

We carry glazes by Amaco, Mayco, Spectrum, and our own Standard formulations.

Do you offer repair services?

We can repair kilns, pottery wheels, pugmills, slab rollers, and clay mixers. Call 412.276.6333 , Ext. 11 or send an email for estimates or to schedule an appointment.

 

Do you deliver?

We deliver throughout the tri-state area. Please call 412.276.6333 for availability and rates.

 

Do you offer classes?

No, but we occasionally offer special workshops, led by visiting artists.

 

What is ClayPlace@Standard?

It is our gallery. We offer several exhibitions throughout the year.
