Light Brown Liquid Underglaze is a light chestnut color that is warm and light at cone 05, becomes a warm tawny color and fluxes into a soft glaze-like surface at cone 6, and maintains this warm tan tone with a soft sheen all the way to cone 10. Though the underglaze does become glaze-like, a clear gloss glaze can give Light Brown an impeccably smooth surface with good color.
Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
