White Liquid Underglaze is a snow white that is light and powdery at cone 05, a beautiful, slightly-warm white that fluxes into a soft glaze-like surface at cone 6, and a slightly brighter white with a soft sheen at cone 10. Though the underglaze does become glaze-like, a clear gloss glaze can give White an impeccably smooth surface with good color.
Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
