Buttercup is a warm, glossy yellow glaze with soft white and dark blue colored glaze crystal bursts that add depth and interesting effects to ceramic work. That glaze crystals can be moved around with a paintbrush, which will affect where the different colored spots will appear.

Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
