Moss Brown is a speckled yellowish red glaze that is is reminiscent of toasty reduction high fire glazes with beautiful effects that can be achieved at low temperatures. It breaks over texture and turns yellow where it is thicker and reddish where thinner. This glaze is formulated to allow the clay body to show through where there is texture and looks dramatically different on red ware and white ware.

Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
