What are your hours?

Ceramic Supply Pittsburgh is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. and every 2nd Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We are closed certain holidays.

Holiday Hours:

Ceramic Supply will be closed on the following holidays:

Are your clays pre-mixed?

Standard wet clays are accurately formulated, completely mixed, pugged and de-aired.

How are your clays packaged?

WET clay bodies are packaged in plastic bags, two 25-lb. bags per carton.

Are your clays available in dry form?

All Standard clays are available in dry form. Dry packaged clays do not conform to ASTM 4236. Refer to Health and Safety.

Can I use the online store for Second Saturday discounts?

No, If you want to receive Second Saturday discounts you must place your order by calling 412.489.5240 and you have to pick it up on Saturday.

What glaze manufacturers do you carry?

We carry glazes by Amaco, Mayco, Spectrum, and our own Standard formulations.

How do I mix dry glazes?

No, but we have a list of technicians that we recommend here.

We deliver throughout the tri-state area. Please call 412.276.6333 for availability and rates.

Do you offer classes?

No, but we occasionally offer special workshops, led by visiting artists.
